Fia Inc. Launches Dura-Tech Responder Seat Covers Designed For Emergency And First Responder Fleets

WINNIPEG, MB: Fia Inc. designs seat covers that are purpose-made for fleets of specialized vehicles. Today, it announced the newest edition of its Dura-Tech line of seat covers, the Dura-Tech Responder.

Designed for use in police, first responder, and other emergency vehicles, the Dura-Tech Responder was created with the unique wear and tear caused by utility belts in mind. The seat cover is made with 100% 1000 Denier wear-resistant nylon. Nylon has the highest abrasion and durability rating of any seat cover material, making it the perfect choice for high-wear environments.

To further protect vehicle seats, the high-wear areas that rub against utility belts are reinforced with a double layer of nylon. This feature helps protect against the wear and tear caused by friction between the tools of the trade and the seat cover.

In addition to the double layer of nylon, a durable water repellent (DWR) coating is applied to the Dura-Tech Responder to prevent wear from spills and moisture. 

The Dura-Tech Responder is a full wrap-around seat cover, offering complete front, back, and headrest protection. The company designed this seat cover with its Super-Grip® fastening system, using belt and buckle fasteners, velcro, and zippers (on some models). This allows installers to securely fasten the seat cover over the seats in minutes.
